Welcome! Below you'll find itinerary information and blog posts on my solo adventures (and a few non-solo adventures too). I hope you'll be inspired to plan your own solo adventure and experience a fun, fascinating and fulfilling trip that will leave you feeling refreshed and recharged.
My two-week solo trip to Japan! I visited Tokyo, Kyoto and Hiroshima and enjoyed museums, shrines and temples, baseball games and onsens!
I took a return trip to Peru, and explored Arequipa and the Colca Canyon, took a flight to see the Nazca Lines, and enjoyed the food scene in Lima.
After many cruises with family over the years, I took one by myself, and had a wonderful, relaxing time. I am sold on solo cruising!
A solo trip to Paris as tourism opened back up after the Covid19 Pandemic. I enjoyed small museums, world class shopping, and tours of Versailles and the Paris food scene
My first solo adventure! I visited London and saw the Queens dresses at Buckingham Palace, visited St. Paul's Cathedral, the Royal Mews, and Apsley House before hitting the high street for some British fashion.
My husband and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary on Easter Island in September! Stay tuned to see our itinerary and blog posts about this trip!
We traveled to Ushuaia, Argentina, where we took a sightseeing flight over the Beagle Channel and then embarked on the MS Sea Venture for a 9 night cruise down the Antarctic Peninsula. We saw it all - penguins, icebergs, seals, seabirds, and whales, 11:00 PM sunsets and more! My brave husband even went sea kayaking and did the polar plunge!
A wonderful, and quick, trip to Peru with my husband to see Machu Picchu. We stayed at a restored monastery in Cusco, toured the Sacred Valley, and took a fancy brunch train to see the famous Inca ruins!
On our first big international trip, my husband and I visited India! I had lived there as a teenager and it was wonderful to revisit this beautiful country! We stayed in palace hotels, were awed by the history and architecture, ate incredible food, even saw a tiger!
